Our Favorite Broth-Based Summer Recipes

One of our favorite ways to get our broth fix is by pouring it straight from the jar to the stovetop, adding herbs, and sipping it like a warm tea. We’re of the mind that this beverage is the perfect comfort food all year round, but sometimes we like to get a little creative depending on the season.

Well, summer’s calling and inspiring us to use our OWL Venice broth in new, innovative ways.


Creative Ways to Cook with OWL Venice Broth this Summer


1. Vegan Broth on the Rocks. 🍶


Okay, so this might not be the most revolutionary way to drink broth, but it’s still one of our favorite treats on warm days.


The
OWL Venice Vegan Mineral Elixir is full of veggies, roots, and herbs that taste great when consumed both hot and cold. Skip the stove this summer and pour your vegan mineral elixir over ice instead. Get a little fancy by dressing it up with a lemon wedge and some fresh cilantro.

3. Broth + Herb Ice Cubes. 🌿

If you’re in the mood to impress company or simply make an average day more lovely, all you need is a jar of our bone
broth elixirs, fresh herbs, and an ice cube tray.

Here’s what you gotta do: Fill the ice cube tray with broth, add sprigs of cilantro, parsley, or rosemary, then... freeze! The result will be cubes of broth adorned with fresh herbs. These beauties are perfect to have on hand for cooking or to cool down a refreshing glass of vegan broth (see #1 ☝️)


4. Broth-Infused Rice Salad. 🌾
