*Now* Is the Time for an OWL Reset!

Everything you need to know about the OWL Reset: How it works, the role of the broth elixirs, the role of the hemp mylkshakes, more info about shipped Resets, and our list of approved foods!

It’s as simple as this: When your gut is out of whack, it affects your entire body. Because an unhealthy gut can create a wide range of issues, many people suffer from gut issues without even knowing it!

While poor gut health can lead to more obvious issues like bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and cramping, there are some other signs many people overlook.

If you’ve been suffering from any of the following symptoms, there’s a chance an unhealthy gut is to blame. Keep reading if you suffer from:

  • A weakened immune system
  • Migraines
  • Unintentional weight changes
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Acid reflux
  • Kidney disease
  • Autoimmune conditions
  • Skin irritation
  • Food intolerances
  • Anxiety or depression
  • Sugar cravings
  • Bad breath

While it may seem like these conditions have little in common, they can all be caused by an imbalance in the digestive system such as small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), inflammation, or leaky gut.

This is where the
OWL Reset comes in. The OWL Reset isn’t your average cleanse! This revolutionary program — consisting of 3 broths and 3 hemp mylkshakes — was designed to nourish the body while reducing inflammation, healing and sealing the gut lining, boosting immunity, and improving digestion.

Here’s how it works:

Processing solid foods full of inflammatory ingredients is hard work! Because our broths and shakes are easy to digest, and the OWL Reset gives the gut a chance to rest for healing.

The Role of OWL Bone Broth Elixirs

Once the digestive system takes a back seat, our
broth elixirs can get to work. It’s commonly known that bone broth is an effective way to treat intestinal permeability. However, many broths on the market are made with low quality bones and contain inflammatory foods like onion and garlic, making them less effective. But not OWL’s! Instead, we use the highest quality bones (more on that here) and simmer our broth elixirs with healing herbs that reduce inflammation, heal the gut, and aid in digestion (more on that here).

Pssst! — We also make a Vegan Mineral Broth Elixir for those who eat a plant-based diet!

The Role of OWL Organic Mylkshakes

Unlike other cleanses, the OWL Reset doesn’t deplete the body of essential nutrients.
Why? Because of our nutritional mylkshakes! All of our Reset programs include our Bold Beet Mylkshake, Golden Ginger Mylkshake, and Magic Matcha Mylkshake. These shakes contain ingredients like ginger, turmeric, spirulina, bentonite clay, and slippery elm which increase energy, regulate blood sugar, reduce inflammation, and regulate digestion. You can find more info on the mylkshakes here.

Pre-Made Shakes vs. Powder Shakes

For our customers located in the LA area, the OWL Reset is available for pick-up at the OWL HQ and the shakes are premade. Because our shakes are made with fresh produce, it’s important that they stay refrigerated. Upon pick-up, we recommend heading straight home and putting them back in the fridge! If it’ll be an hour or more before you can refrigerate your shakes, please come prepared with a chill bag or cooler.

For shipped orders, we send pre-portioned powders in glass mason jars to which you must add your own veggies and water. These powders contain hemp and the other essential ingredients in our mylkshakes that nourish the body and aid in digestion.

Not into cooking? Don’t worry!

We make the mylkshake preparation process as easy as possible by including detailed instructions. Here's the gist: Add the powder and a fruit/veggie to a blender. Fill up the 32oz line with water. Blend until smooth. Put back in jar. Refrigerate.

If you’ve recently ordered a shipped Reset and want to know which items to add to your shopping list, plan to purchase two plantains, one kabocha squash, and two beets.

Having trouble finding these ingredients? Here are some substitutes!

Instead of plantains, you can use bananas, avocado, or coconut meat in your Magic Matcha.

Instead of kabocha squash, you can use acorn squash, butternut squash, sweet potato, yam, or canned pumpkin in your Golden Ginger.

Instead of beets, you can use sweet potato, yam, and steamed carrot your Bold Beet.

P.S. You Can Eat on the OWL Reset!

Not only do the broths and shakes in the OWL Reset provide ample nutrients and calories, we also encourage those on the program to listen to their bodies and add in certain foods as necessary.
