WEEK AT A GLANCE

SATURDAY

After your arrival, you’ll have time to explore the area or relax. Our group will then meet for an opening ceremony. We will talk about the philosophy of yoga, and what we want to accomplish in the upcoming days.

SUNDAY

Our day will begin with a soulful-unwind-sunrise Yoga practice to ground ourselves, and to set the intentions for our practice. Then you have the choice of a restorative nap, or a group visit into town. We’ll end the day with a 20 minute sound-healing session to promote body and mind alignment. After this we’ll be blissed out and ready for dinner.

MONDAY

We’ll jump right into our practice for a deepen-the-roots Yoga session. After breakfast we’ll head out on an exploratory adventure to a sacred Nahualt Aztec Stone Hall for offerings, and silent meditation. We’ll then return, for a slower Yoga practice and to learn the history of the land and its people. Our day will close out with a guided meditation.

TUESDAY

After an inspiring morning Yoga session, this day will be much slower with plenty of time to enjoy the amenities. We’ll end the evening with a slow Yoga session to bring you a sense of vitality and serenity. As your nervous system rewires and recovers, you should be sleeping more deeply.

WEDNESDAY

Our Sunrise Yoga flow will focus on the core to prepare us for our journey to The Stairway to Heaven of the Nahualt people. We’ll be heading north, to a small, local community to hike up to their sacred waterfalls. Will you be ready to jump in? The focus for this day will be on listening, learning and connecting with gratitude to be living, and transforming through the core of our human-nature-connection.

THURSDAY

Our day will start with a continuation of our Yoga practice followed by a meditation hike through the Garden of Infinite Orchids. Afterward, a trip to the market will allow for shopping, exploring the culture, and practicing your Spanish skills.

FRIDAY

We’ll open our last full day with a soulful Yoga session. The majority of the day will consist of relaxing beach and pool time, and we’ll close out with our final evening Yoga session. To celebrate our time together, we’ll gather for a special night filled with music and dancing!

SATURDAY

After a final, centering morning Yoga session, we'll share our last meal together before returning to the airport.

*Retreat schedule is subject to change.

Transportation

Schedule your arrival into Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). A valid passport, with at least 6 months before it expires, is necessary to enter the country. You will be given a tourist-visa good for 3 months before you exit the airplane. Mar de Jade is 90 minutes north of the PVR airport by car. The hotel can arrange for a driver to pick you up at the airport, or you can take a taxi for $120-130 USD each way, which can be split between those sharing a ride. Once everyone is registered we will be coordinating shared-rides for those landing and departing together, if desired.

Cancellation

Your ticket and Mar de Jade deposits are non-refundable.
